Sarah Hayley Orrantia
Sarah Hayley Orrantia (born February 21st 1994) is an American actress, singer, and songwriter. Her most well-known role is the role of Erica Goldberg in the ABC comedy show The Goldbergs. She was part of Lakoda Rayne (a country-pop girl group that was formed by Paula Abdul in the first season of The X Factor). In 2015 her first single "Love Sick" was released. Her debut EP, The Way Out, debuted in May 2015. Orrantia started singing at nine years of age and began her professional education at the age of 12. When she was 13 she wrote her first song. By the age of 15, she recorded her first EP of covers and was writing with the songwriter Jamie Houston who at the time was most famous for his songs for the three Disney High School Musical movies. Orrantia auditioned in the summer of 2011 to be a part of the very first season of The X Factor. Orrantia submitted who submitted a YouTube video was chosen by judges and was awarded four "yeses" votes during the live audition phase. Though she auditioned initially as a solo artist, during "Hollywood Week", she and three other female singers were put into a group for the remainder of the auditions as Lakoda Rayne. They were eliminated in week five of the live performances.
