Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara OOC (born on March 4, 1954), is a Canadian-American actress and comedian. O'Hara has been awarded a variety of prizes that include the Genie Award (a Golden Globe Award) and two Screen Actors Guild Awards and two Primetime Emmy Awards. In addition, O'Hara was awarded six Canadian Screen Awards. In 2018, O'Hara was elected as an Officer of Canada. She also received the Governor General’s Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement Medal in 2020. O'Hara's first recognition as an actress while she was part of The Second City improv comedy troupe in Toronto in 1974. Together with John Candy (1975-1978), she was part of the primary casting for the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). O'Hara was a part of Candy on the sketch comedy series Second City Television (1976-1984). The show received the attention of critics both for her writing abilities and acting and was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award, 1981 for Outstanding Writing in a Variety Series. In 2022, O'Hara was added to the newly formed Second City artistic advisory board led by Stephen Colbert, along with Steve Carell, Dwayne Colbert, Tina Fey, Keegan-Michael Key, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jane Lynch, Tim Meadows, Peter Murrieta, Suzy Nakamura Sam Richardson, Jeff Richmond, Jason Sudeikis, and Robin Thede.
